Is there a delivery charge?

No, delivery is free to all customers.

Is there a minimum order value?

For fruit and vegetable deliveries, there is a minimum order value of £7.50.
However, if you want to be added to our egg round please go to the ‘join the egg round’ page.

How do I pay?

Customers can either pay by cash or cheque on delivery of your order. As you will know the price of your order before we deliver, a cheque could be left somewhere safe. Please make cheques payable to ‘Happy Hens’.

What happens if I’m not in?

A lot of our customers are out during the day so it isn’t a problem. All we need to do is make an arrangement on where to leave your order in a safe place. A garage or shed or somewhere enclosed is usually a good place.

We can always contact you and arrange a safe place to leave the goods before your first delivery.

Do I have to order every week?

No. You can order as many times as suits you. Some people find a weekly delivery better for them or others a fortnightly delivery. Some items you may not need every week, so see which works for you.

Can I change any items that are included in the boxes?

The fruit, vegetable and salad boxes are designed for value for money as well as quality. If you wish to change items in any of the boxes we will price accordingly.

What happens if I only want egg deliveries?

No problem. If you go to the ‘join the egg round’ tab at the top of the page we can contact you and advise you on when we deliver to your area.

What should I do if my order hasn’t arrived?

We very rarely miss a delivery, so don’t panic if it is a bit later than usual. We work on a round type system a lot of the time so we should deliver your order at roughly the same time every week.

What happens if I am not happy with my order?

If you are not happy with any of the products delivered or if they fall below our usual high standard please contact us as soon as possible. We will then replace any item concerned.
